About Oceanside Collegiate Academy
Dear Oceanside Collegiate Academy Students, Families, and Community,
It is with great excitement, humility, and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2026–27 school year as the new Principal of Oceanside Collegiate Academy. My family and I are truly honored to join this outstanding community and become part of the proud Landshark tradition of excellence.
Throughout my career in education, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of schools and districts, and one thing has always remained true: great schools are built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared belief that every student can succeed. Oceanside Collegiate Academy represents all of those qualities. This is a school with a powerful mission, a record of academic and athletic excellence, and a community that believes in preparing students for life beyond high school.
I believe deeply in the idea that everything matters—the little things, the daily habits, the relationships we build, and the effort we bring to each class, practice, and conversation. Excellence is not created in one big moment; it is built through thousands of small, intentional actions over time. At OCA, we will continue to honor the strong traditions that have made this school special while focusing on the details that help every student grow.
A central focus of our work together will be literacy and communication—the ability to read, write, think, and speak with clarity and confidence. These skills are the foundation for success in every subject, every career path, and every stage of life. Whether students are preparing for
college coursework, the workforce, or military service, strong literacy skills will open doors and create opportunities.
We will also continue to build a culture grounded in character, accountability, and pride. Being a Landshark means showing grit when work is challenging, kindness in every interaction, and responsibility for our actions and our learning. When students, families, and staff work together with these shared values, incredible things happen.
My commitment is simple:
- To know our students and families by name and by story
- To support and develop our talented teachers and staff
- To maintain a safe, positive, and focused learning environment
- And to ensure that every graduate leaves OCA fully prepared for college, career, and life
Thank you for the warm welcome you have already shown me. I look forward to meeting each of you, learning your stories, and working together to make the 2026–2027 school year one of growth, pride, and continued excellence.
Let's have a great year, Landsharks -- because at Oceanside, the little things matter, and together we will do great things.
With appreciation and excitement,

Dr. Kelly Linkenhoker
Principal
