About Dr. Kelly Linkenhoker

Dr. Kelly Linkenhoker brings extensive experience as a high school principal, district leader, instructional supervisor, and coach, with a proven record of advancing academic achievement, strengthening school culture, and building high-performing leadership teams.

Professional Background

Dr. Linkenhoker joins OCA from Salem City Schools in Salem, Virginia, where she most recently served as Principal of Salem High School. Her leadership focused on rigorous academics, instructional quality, attendance, and student conduct through collaborative systems and clear expectations.
During her three-year tenure, Salem High School achieved significant, measurable growth, rising from 208th to 48th statewide and from 11th to 2nd in the Roanoke Valley, according to U.S. News & World Report (2025–26).

About Oceanside Collegiate Academy: Oceanside Collegiate Academy (OCA), located in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., serves high school students in a safe, small and family-centered setting. Our students seek the opportunity and challenge of rigorous curriculum, high academic standards and elite athletics while earning up to two years of college credit. OCA serves students in grades 9-12 using an honors curriculum in 9th and 10 grades with a dual enrollment curriculum in 11th and 12th grades
