Chris Kempinski was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Kings College in Wilkes-barre, PA. This is where he also obtained his teaching certificate through their post-baccalaureate program.
Before moving to South Carolina, he spent one year working for CliftonLarsonAllen as public auditor, and five years coaching basketball one of which he was an assistant for the Kings College women's team.
Upon moving to Mount Pleasant, Chris spent the past two years teaching middle school Mathematics at Simmons-Pinckney Middle School and one year assisting the Burke High School girls basketball team. When Chris is not in the classroom or coaching, he enjoys spending time at the beach, golfing, playing basketball, walking his dog, exploring new restaurants, and seeing everything Charleston has to offer.
