Ellie Hunt is a freshman Varsity Lacrosse player at OCA, anchoring the defense with focus, determination, and athleticism. She also competes in rugby as a wing, showcasing her speed and versatility across sports. Ellie brings energy and teamwork to every game, earning respect from coaches and teammates alike.
Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Ellie previously attended Camp Road Middle School. She is the daughter of Brandy and Michael Hunt and the sister of Will, Cassie, and Drew. She admires Pat Tillman for his courage and sacrifice, finding inspiration in those who put others first.
Academically, Ellie enjoys Biology and has earned both A and AB Honor Roll recognition. Outside the classroom and athletic fields, she spends her free time hanging out with friends, listening to music, coloring, doing her nails, and styling her friends’ hair. Her favorite foods include her mom’s chicken casserole, and she enjoys watching shows like Abbott Elementary, The Office, and Friends. Musically, she listens to Darius Rucker, and her favorite sport to watch is football, looking up to NFL standout Luke Kuechly.
Ellie plans to attend college after graduation, with aspirations of becoming a hairstylist or esthetician and running her own business. She stays motivated by small personal rituals, like noticing angel numbers, which help keep her grounded. With her drive, creativity, and leadership both on the field and off, Ellie is poised for success in sports, academics, and her future entrepreneurial ventures.
