Kaelyn Welch is a junior Varsity Lacrosse player at OCA, anchoring the defense with focus, skill, and determination. She also competes in Track and Field, specializing in pole vault with Mount Pleasant Track’s indoor and summer teams, showcasing her athletic versatility and dedication to training. Kaelyn combines agility and strategy to make a strong impact on the field.

Born in Connecticut and raised in Burlington, Kaelyn previously attended online school before joining OCA. She is the daughter of Heather and Dion and the sister of Gavin, Brayden, and Logan. Kaelyn admires her small group leader for her unwavering faith in the Lord, a source of inspiration that guides her both in athletics and daily life.

Academically, Kaelyn enjoys Biology and finds balance through her hobbies of baking and working out. She enjoys spending time at home or with friends, nurturing both her social and creative sides. Her favorite foods include sushi, and she is a fan of Star Wars and the TV series Bridgerton. Musically, she listens to Daniel Caesar. When it comes to sports to watch, football is her favorite, and she looks up to elite pole vaulter Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis for his skill and precision.

After graduation, Kaelyn plans to attend medical school with a focus on neurology and aims to become a physical medicine and rehabilitation therapist. With her faith, discipline, and dedication to both athletics and academics, Kaelyn is building a future marked by excellence, service, and personal growth.
