A mom of four, with two children currently attending Oceanside Collegiate Academy. As both a parent and an educator, she cares deeply about the future of our school and the experience our students, families and staff have each day.
Spent 12 years teaching in public schools in Massachusetts and also taught at a local Christian school since moving to Mount Pleasant. Those experiences provided her with a broad view of education— what works, what doesn’t, and what makes a school community thrive.
Decided to run a position on the school board because she believes Oceanside can be more than just a good school — it can be a great one.
Wants to help build a culture where parents feel welcome and heard, where students are proud of their school, and where teachers and staff feel supported. Focus will be on working to see the gym filled with students cheering on their classmates, and building sense of community that brings all — parents, students, staff and leadership — together.
Has been part of a school where that kind of culture existed, and knows what it takes to help create it. Wants to work together to make OCA the kind of place everyone is proud to call home
