Coach Beth Mays is excited to return to coaching girls’ basketball, and to join the Oceanside Landsharks.
She played basketball throughout her young life, finishing her career playing at LaSalle University from 1999-2003. She was an assistant coach at Oakton High School in Northern Virginia during 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, with an overall record of 53-6, including two district championships, one regional championship, and a two-time state semifinalist.
Coach Mays knows how impactful many of her coaches were to her in her playing days, and hopes to contribute in the same way at Oceanside Collegiate Academy.
Coach Mays grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Charleston in 2020. She has worked for various homebuilders in sales and leadership positions, and received her MBA from George Mason University in 2012.
