Caleb Fennell serves as Athletic Trainer at Oceanside Collegiate Academy, bringing experience in sports medicine and athletic training at the professional, collegiate, high school and clinical levels to the Landsharks' athletic program.
A native of Lake Worth Beach, Florida, Fennell gained professional sports experience with Inter Miami CF, where his work included injury evaluations and rehabilitation programs for a variety of sports-related conditions. His experience included the treatment and rehabilitation of hamstring and groin injuries, ankle sprains, knee ligament injuries, concussions, stress fractures, muscle contusions and tendonitis, providing him with valuable experience caring for high-level athletes through each stage of recovery and return to competition.
Fennell also completed multiple athletic training rotations at the University of Miami, including extensive work with the Hurricanes' women's soccer program. His collegiate experience included therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, injury prevention and rehabilitation. He gained hands-on experience with ultrasound, electrical stimulation, cryotherapy, hydrotherapy and manual therapy techniques as part of comprehensive student-athlete care.
At the high school level, Fennell gained experience responding to injuries during competition while providing athletic training services focused on injury prevention, assessment and treatment. His responsibilities also included preseason screenings and fitness assessments.
Fennell's clinical experience includes time at Plantation Orthopedics Sports Medicine Clinic, where he assisted orthopedic physicians and athletic trainers with evaluations and patient care for a diverse population, with an emphasis on outpatient sports rehabilitation.
Fennell earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Clemson University in 2020 before continuing his education at the University of Miami, where he pursued a master's degree in athletic training.
His background across professional, collegiate, high school and clinical settings provides Fennell with a comprehensive approach to sports medicine. At Oceanside Collegiate Academy, he works closely with Landsharks student-athletes and coaches with an emphasis on injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and the safe return of student-athletes to competition.
