Dana Bradford is a seasoned healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, a business owner and a lifelong advocate for education.
A former Division I collegiate scholarship athlete at Appalachian State University, Dana’s dedication, teamwork and discipline have shaped a career defined by leadership, integrity and service. As the founder and operator of Dana Bradford Consulting, LLC, she provides expert legal nurse consulting services - analyzing medical records, assessing standards of care, and supporting litigation teams across a range of complex healthcare cases.
Her ability to interpret data, communicate clearly, and make informed decisions under pressure directly aligns with the skills required to serve effectively on a school board. Dana has demonstrated leadership in hospital administration, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. Her work as a Nursing Administrator and Director of Risk Management at East Cooper Medical Center has given her experience in strategic planning, conflict resolution, policy development and collaborative problem-solving — critical qualities for any school Board of Directors.
Dana is married to her college sweetheart and has three children, including two children who currently attend Oceanside Collegiate Academy and an older son who attends Georgia Southern University and is a United States Marine. She is also deeply passionate about education. She has created orientation programs for medical staff, chaired multiple hospital committees and is known for her ability to mentor, teach and build strong relationships. She believes every student deserves access to high-quality education and safe, supportive learning environments.
