James Foreman

Mr. James J. Foreman is a native of Panama City in Panama and attended high school and college in California.

After graduating from Buena Park High in Orange County, he attended California State University-Fullerton where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He went on to earn his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California while also earning 18 hours in Business Administration from The Claremont Graduate School.

Additionally, Mr. Foreman earned a Master of Arts Degree in History during the summer of 2015 from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

While in college, Mr. Foreman served in the U.S. Army National Guard in Glendale, California, serving alongside a future actor named Tom Selleck in the 160th Infantry Unit.

Mr. Foreman has taught college level courses with the University of Redlands, the University of Phoenix, Chapman University, Beaufort County Community College (in Washington, North Carolina) and, from January 2014 until July 2018, at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Mr. Foreman has been at Oceanside Collegiate Academy in Mt. Pleasant, SC, since August 2017 teaching Dual Enrollment Western Civilization and American History.

Mr. Foreman said that the late UCLA legendary basketball coach John Wooden and his Pyramid of Success is the most influential person in his life, right behind his mother.

Mr. Foreman is a fan of Classic Rock, especially acts like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel and Carole King. He lists his favorite authors as Mitch Albom and David Balducci.

He has two grown sons, Christopher, who lives and works in Seattle, Wash., and Kyle, who lives and works in Costa Mesa, Calif.
