Laramie Wieseman, his wife Molly and daughter Eva, moved to the Charleston area all the way from Wisconsin during the summer of 2021. Prior to joining the Oceanside faculty, Mr. Wieseman taught high school science and coached boys basketball for six years.
Before beginning his teaching career, Mr. Wieseman graduated with departmental honors in Biology and Education from Beloit College, where he also played for the Beloit College men's basketball team. Mr. Wieseman teaches Biology 1 Honors and Earth & Space Science at Oceanside, and also serves as an assistant coach for the Oceanside boy's basketball team.
When he is not teaching or coaching, Mr. Wieseman enjoys spending time outdoors - at the beach, on the water, golfing or just enjoying the warm weather.
