OCA Schedule | 8/31/2026 2:28:00 PM
Mt. Pleasant, SC – Oceanside Collegiate Academy will host a College Financial Aid Night on Monday, September 14, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., giving families practical information to help identify colleges that are both a good fit and financially affordable.
The program will be led by Claire Law, M.S., an IECA professional and financial aid expert, who will help parents and students better understand the financial side of the college selection process.
"Get into colleges that fit you and are affordable" will be the focus of the evening. Topics will include strategies for completing the FAFSA and CSS Profile, understanding a college's actual net price, and using the Student Aid Index (SAI) to better understand a family's financial position in the aid process.
Law will also discuss South Carolina State Lottery Scholarships and strategies families can use to identify affordable college options based on a student's academic and athletic profile as well as each family's individual financial circumstances.
The program is designed for parents of high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, and students are strongly encouraged to attend as well.
As an additional resource, Law is offering OCA families a complimentary 30-minute financial aid review.
