Charleston, SC – The Oceanside Collegiate Academy girls golf team opened its season on Tuesday with a victory over Phillip Simmons High at the Daniel Island Club.
The Landsharks held off the Iron Horses by five shots over nine holes to win the matchup.
Oceanside was led by sophomore
Sarah Hoffman with a four-over par score of 40 to earn medalist honors for the day. She was followed by sophomore
Carson Chavis (50), sophomore
Emme Hines (59), junior
Piper Swatt (60) and senior
Madeline Hines (59).
The Landsharks will be back in action on Monday, September 23, at Bulls Bay Golf Club in a tri-match against Academic Magnet and Bishop England.
