                     Charleston, SC – The Oceanside Collegiate Academy girls golf team squared off against the teams from Academic Magnet and Bishop England on Monday afternoon at the Bulls Bay Golf Club.
 
While the team results were not what the Landsharks were hoping for, sophomore 
Sarah Hoffman staked her claim as one of the top individual performers in the lowcountry with a nine-hole score of 39 to earn medalist honors. Hoffman finished three shots ahead of Akiera Sanchez from Academic Magnet.
 
As a team, the Landsharks posted a total score of 212 to finish third in the match. Academic Magnet's team score of 203 was two shots better than Bishop England.
 
Oceanside will be back in action on Wednesday at Crowfield Golf Club against Goose Creek High. The match is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
