The lead continued to grow in the third quarter as senior
Carson Jones got hot, drilling a trio of three-pointers to go with another from Davinroy as OCA pushed its advantage to 48-28.
Greer tried to make a run in the final quarter, but OCA got five more points from Thomas, who finished with a game-high 17, to hold on for the victory.
Junior guard Mike Williams led Greer (11-7) with 15 points in the loss, which snapped a four-game win-streak for the Yellow Jackets.
The Landsharks entered Monday's game off a dominant performance in Region 6-AAA on Friday when they posted a 52-19 road victory over Orangeburg-Wilkinson. Dawson matched the Bears' (14-5, 3-1) total scoring output in that game, scoring 19 points with a trio of three-pointers. Senior

All three Oceanside teams were scheduled to host Hanahan in region play on Tuesday night, but those games have been postponed due to the winter weather expected to roll through the area Monday night into Tuesday.
